Privacy Policy

Mixology Club ("we", "us") runs mixologyclub.com and the Mixology Club iOS app (which loads this website). This page explains what information we handle and what we do with it — in plain English.

What we collect

• Account details. If you create an account: your email address, a display name, and a password (stored as a secure hash by our authentication provider — we never see it).
• Things you save. Favorites, ratings and reviews you post, and recipes you submit are stored with your account.
• Standard server logs. Like nearly every website, our hosting provider records basic request logs (IP address, browser type, pages requested) for security and troubleshooting.

What we don't collect

• Mix Match ingredients never leave your browser. The ingredient matcher runs entirely on your device; nothing you type is uploaded.
• 21 Bottle Challenge progress stays on your device (browser local storage). We can't see it.
• No ads, no ad trackers, no analytics scripts, and we never sell or rent your data. Ever.

Where your data lives

Accounts and saved content are stored with Supabase (our database and authentication provider). The website is served by our hosting provider. Recipe photography is delivered by the Unsplash content network and product images by Amazon's content network — loading an image sends those networks a standard web request (including your IP), as with any site.

Cookies & local storage

We use browser local storage for your sign-in session, challenge progress, and preferences. We don't use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.

Shop purchases

Our Shop links to products on Amazon. Purchases happen entirely on Amazon under Amazon's privacy policy — we never see your payment details.

Your choices

• You can browse the entire site without an account.
• You can edit or delete your reviews and favorites at any time.
• To delete your account and everything tied to it, email us and we'll take care of it promptly.

Age

Mixology Club features alcohol-related content and is intended for visitors of legal drinking age (21+ in the US). It is not directed at children, and we don't knowingly collect information from minors.

Changes

If we change this policy, we'll update the date at the top. Material changes will be flagged on the homepage.
